About Gina

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCTMB), and a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). As a student at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL, I was immersed in a challenging course of study that covered not only massage techniques but also anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, clinical pathology & microbiology, and rehabilitation & therapeutic exercise.

Aside from my initial training, I have taken over 300 hours of continuing education courses which include Cupping Massage, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching and Functional Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Kinesio/Rock Taping, as well as those that cover treatments for headaches and migraines, soft tissue concerns from Parkinson’s Disease, post-stroke rehab, low back and hip pain, and neck pain. My training has allowed me to utilize my services in the medical field and I have worked alongside physical therapists, chiropractic physicians, M.D.s, and acupuncturists.

“I’ve worked with Gina many times. She works with every muscle group, while focusing on areas needing it most. She has excellent intuition for exactly the right amount of intensity. Adding to the therapeutic benefit, her style and rhythm make a session with her very pleasant.”     ~Nancy D.

“Gina is the best, most caring therapist I have ever had! She begins each session by asking what areas need focus today and if she’s not familiar with your particular problem, she’ll do research on it! I love her!”     ~Doreen R.
